Raziel (2013)

This is a sketch I made of a character created by my boyfriend. He gave me a few reference pictures taken from the popular side-step fighting game Soul Calibur V, as well as a few written descriptions, and asked me to draw his character, Raziel, for him. I happily obliged, and this is what came of it all. I used a few reference images from Bethesda's Fallout New Vegas, in addition to the screen shots I was given.

I have my own character that I created years ago as well, named Liara (not to be confused with Mass Effect's Liara T'soni - I came up with the name two years before Mass Effect was released). I plan to do several sketches and a few completed drawings of her in the hopefully near future.

Fire (2013)

This is my newest work - still incomplete. I will post the finished copy when it is done, but now I wanted to post the "in progress" piece. I am very happy with how this is coming along so far - the lighting turned out better than I expected.

Cataclysmic Bedroom (2012)

I made this for my first project in my second year Digital Media class at UBCO. We were to make a surreal landscape, so I took a photo of my bedroom, and added the sky during a forest fire, dragons from the popular MMORPG World of Warcraft, and the lake in the center of the valley where I live.

 Blue Shell (2010)

I made this piece back in 2010 for my first project in my grade 12 year Fine Arts class. To date this is perhaps my favorite piece I have ever made in pencil crayons. I used a reference image of the back of Rihanna's head to get the head shape properly, and a shell for the hair. I am very proud of the lighting in this work.

Audrey Hepburn Charcoal

This piece was created for my first year drawing class at UBCO back in 2012. It is made entirely out of charcoal, and an image of Hepburn was used as reference.

Charcoal Series (2012)

A series of three charcoal pieces I made for my second year university drawing class. I decided to focus primarily on the human figure, as that is one of my strong points. I also enjoy landscapes that are simple and barren, hence the lone figure in the center, coupled with the dead tree.

Angel (2011)

This was the first drawing I ever made on Photoshop back when I was in my last year of high school. It was meant to represent contrast, hence the fair hair and dark wings. Considering this was the first time I ever used Photoshop, I was very pleased with the results!
